Uttarakhand, Until 2007 known as Uttaranchal, is a stunningly beautiful state in the Himalayan North of India. It is broken up into a western part, named Garhwal, and an eastern part named "Kumaon".
On arrival at the Delhi airport, proceed to Rishikesh. Check-in at an onside camp. After freshen up, enjoy rafting on the river Ganga. You may also enjoy other adventure activity such as rock-climbing rappelling, kayaking and trekking in Rishikesh. Return to the camp for lunch. There are a lot of things to check out in Nainital. We have to get started early. First of all are the beautiful lakes of Nainital- the main Nainital Lake, Bhimtal, Naukuchiatal are the main three we will be covering on this road trip in Uttarakhand. These lakes are as pretty as a picture. Also, there are boating facilities available here.
The grand Mukhteswar temple is identified as one of the eighteen most important temples dedicated to Lord Shiva in the Hindu scripture.
A fantastic picnic spot in its own right, one gets a complete view of the town of Nainital and its surrounding hills in the Kumaon region from the location of Tiffin Top.
Morning post breakfast, drive to the Tiger Reserve- the Corbett National Park. The park offers you to visit a wide variety of species like Tigers, leopard and elephants. Experience an adventurous jeep safari and explore the rich flora and fauna of the park. Enjoy bonfire and dinner at the hotel in the evening. Night stay at the hotel.
